Lord's Rules & Guidelines for Choosing a Lord

Being lord is a big responsibility, you must remember to always be humble with your powers, but remember to have some fun as well. Although you are regular players some of your abilities give you a lot more power than most, so you must use them wisely. These are the rules for lords, we will enforce much more harsh penalties for all those who choose to abuse their powers. You will receive a single warning, after this any further violation of the rules (these as well as the normal ones) will get you banned.

1. Muting - muting a player continuously can be considered harassment. Also realize it is usually unnecessary to mute anyone, so muting players without just cause can be considered harassment as well. Just cause will include things such as: flooding general chat, penya spammers, people making accusations, and other things of this nature

Muting any of the GM’s at any time will result in an instant, non-negotiable permanent ban.

2. Lord's Shout - Bypassing swear filters will get you a harsh penalty, also be aware that defamation or harassment of other players in shout will result in a ban.

3. Summoning – If you summon players to high level zones ONLY to get them killed, this is harassment.

If you summon players to the arena with the sole intention of getting them killed, this is harassment.

If you continuously summon the same character without just cause or consent, this is harassment.

Lords, you still answer to the GM’s. Being Lord does not give you any leeway with the rules of FlyFF. If you choose to break the rules, you will suffer the appropriate consequences.

PLAYERS:

1. If your lord is banned due to breaking the rules, the GM’s are not responsible for providing the server with any drop or exp events that are missed. You will be without the benefits of a lord until a new one is chosen.

2. You are responsible for who you vote as Lord. Please make sure you vote wisely.

3. Lords are not GM’s. They cannot do GM work, nor should they be expected to do so. They do not have the ability to cure Penya spammers on the servers, to mute someone annoying you etc.
Their powers have limitations. Just because a Lord does not fulfill one of your requests, it does not give you the right to flame or harass them.

4. Please remember; Lords are still players. The same rules for harassment apply to them as well. Harassment of the Lords will not be tolerated. Please view the rules for harassment here: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2472143

5. Once a Lord is chosen, this decision cannot be overturned. There is no impeachment, so crying foul play is pointless.

6. As I said, make sure you vote wisely. Whether you vote for a lord who does an amazing job or a Lord who abuses his powers is entirely in your control.

7. The GM’s are not responsible if the lord of your server is not fulfilling his expectations. We will not remove the Lord’s powers unless legitimate rules are broken.

8. Lords do not set the tax rates, the winners of the Forsaken Tower East and West secret rooms do. Do not flame or harass the Lord if the taxes are not set to your liking.
